STAFF DANCE AT KAIAPOI.

The staff of the Kaiapoi Wooilv Mills held its annual ball in tuo Orange Hal], Kaiapoi, on Friday ever, ing. There was a large attendance, including many from the Woolstcn Hosiery Mills for whom the company provided transport. The guests of honour were Mr and Mrs G. Greenwood. Mr and Mrs R. GiJJ and Mr and Mrs W. S. Winnv (Chistchurch ). Excellent arrangements were made for the entertainment of those present oy the following committee:—Mesdames G. Green. J. Drabble. W. Hartley, H. Brockelbank, 11. M Lilley, L, Johnston, W. Haitley, A. Smith. .T. R. Murphy and E. C. Harpei (secretary). Music was provided bv Ogjlvie’s Dance Orchestra and Misses W. M’Partlin and B. Parker were the Masters of Ceremonies. spot dances were won by Miss C. Wilson and Mr H. O. Hills and Miss Ohinnery and Mr Nichols and a Monte Cark» by Mkc Lorna Thompson and Mr L. Thompson
