SCHOOLS RE-OPEN.

Measles Still Present in Some Districts. Alost schools in the Canterbury Education Board’s district re-opened this morning for the second term, but so far no advice has been received whether or not the attendances are still depleted on account of the measles epidemic. The Rangiora, Woodend, Temuka, Waimate and Rewanui Schools did not resume because of the continued presence *pf sickness among children in their districts. All schools will close on June 4 for the King’s Birthday celebrations, but there will be no further term holidays until August 17.
