U.S. DEBT POLICY.
United Press Assn. —By Electric Telegraph—Copyright. WASHINGTON, May 5. If Great Britain were in default of her war debts to the United States, Canada would not be in default, by virtue of her being a self-governing dominion of the Britirh Commonwealth of Nations. The Attorney-General, Mr H. S. Cummings, when making that ruling to-day, also declared that the United Kingdom had not defaulted when she made token payments on her war debts instalments.
