Two Bengali youths found loitering early in the morning near the Sibpur (Howrah) Police Station were challenged and promptly replied by bombarding the building. They injured the sentry slightly and damaged the building seriously. While running away another bomb exploded, wounding the pair, who were arrested. The bombs used were most deadly.
