“THE INVISIBLE MAN.”

The talking picture version of 11. G. Wells’s famous thriller, “ The Invisible Man,” has thrilled countless thousands the world over. Proof that its popularity is still as great as ever was afforded by the reception the film was accorded at the Grand Theatre on Saturday, when it began a return season. Excitement and suspense go hand in hand in “ The Invisible Man.” The story deals with a scientist who has learned and practises the secret of invisibility, but is unable afterwards to restore his natural appearance. Claude Rains, the “ mystery man ” of Hollywood, is starred, and Gloria Stuart provides the romantic interest. The acting is flawless. Good * shorts precede the featured attraction.
