U.S. to Stop Cultivation on 75,000,000 Acres.

LONDON, May 5. Sir Stafford Cripps, speaking at Upton, where he referred to a recent visit to America, said that Mr Wallace, United States Minister of Agriculture, had told him that he had decided to put out of cultivation 25,000,000 acres in the Western States and was contemplating stopping cultivation over 75,000,000 acres, a total area equivalent to the entire cultivated area of Canada.
