The monthly meeting of the Dickens Fellowship was held in Toe H Hall. Latimer Square, on Saturday evening. Mr A. E. Caddick presided over a large audience. The speaker for the evening, Mr J. H. E. Schroder, M.A., took for his subject, “ Dickens as a Stylist." Mr Schroder touched briefly on those people who denied Dickens’s ability 10 write well. It was not possible, he said, to divorce what was produced by writing from the actual writing itself.
