Verdict in Manslaughter Case. Per Press Association. AUCKLAND, May 7. At the direction of the Judge, the jury in the Supreme Court to-day returned a verdict of not guilty in the manslaughter charge against Christopher Charles Brown, twenty-two years of age. a fish-curer. The charge arose out of the death of Stephen Walter Carter, following a fight between him and accused outside a cate on March 31.
