Crystal Palace to Show “Too Much Harmony.” “ Girl Without a Room ” will be shown finally to-morrow night at the Crystal Palace Theatre. Tvfo elaborate production numbers filled with beautiful girls and catchy melodies are features of the musical comedy, “ Too Much Harmony.” which will come to the Crystal Palace Theatre on 'Saturday. The story centres round the lives of the members of a musical comedy cast between the closing of one show, and the opening of the next. Bing Crosby, who takes the part of the Broadway star, is engaged to marry a gold-digging blonde (the late Lilyan Tashman), but he falls in -love with a beautiful and charming little actress. Judith Allen. He takes her to New York and gives her a part in his new show. After helping her to get on well in the stage world he finds to his dismay that she is engaged to one of his comedians, Jack Oakie. Fur ther complications ensue when Crosby finds that his former fiancee is not so easy to drop as he had anticipated Two dance scenes, entitled “ Black Moonlight ” and “ Buckin’ the Wind,” are a notable feature of the piece. The qgusic that accompanies “ Black Moonlight ” is a pagan, haunting melody that lingers in the memory after the picture is over. There are several other catchy songs that make “ Too Much Harmony ” one of the brightest and most entertaining musical shows that has come to the screen for some time. All of them are catchy, modern melodies that are a delight to listen to.
