ANZAC COLLECTIONS.

The collections taken at the two services held at Cheviot on Anzac Dav i amounted to £l2 17s 4d, the sum of £4 15s 9d being collected at the service held at Spotswood in the morning and £8 Is 7d being collected at the county service held in the Public Hall in the afternoon. This amount, less the expenses, will be forwarded to the Christchurch R.S.A. for its Unemployment Fund. Three hundred poppies were forwarded to Cheviot and a total of 270 were disposed of. The proceeds of these will also be forwarded to the Christchurch centre.
