ALLEGED CAR CONVERSION.

In the Police Court to-day John Crosbie Home, aged twenty-nine years, who was charged with converting a motor-car to his own use, was remanded until April 26. T he application for the remand was made by counsel, Mr Young. The police raised no objection, Chief-Detective Dunlop stating that there would definitely be a further charge, of theft, and perhaps a charge relating to a previous conviction.
