PROTECTION OF WOMEN.
At the monthly meeting of the N.Z. Society for the Protection of Women and Children (Christchurch Branch) the following members were present: The president. Air C. R. N. Alackie, in the chair; committee, Alesdames J. Blackaby. E. Emmett. T. Tomlinson, Adjutant Wood, Atr P. G. Grant (honorary treasurer) and the secretary, .Miss Cardale. The secretary reported that the arrangements were made for the annual meeting, which would take place on Thursday, April 26. at S p.rn.. in the Christchurch City Council Chambers. The secretary reported IS7 miscellaneous. 11l visits and 2"»2 callers had been attended to during the month.
