ROUND THE DANCES.
The official opening of the 1934 dance season will take the form of a grand old-time ball in the Caledonian Hall next Monday evening. The grand march will commence at 8 p.m., and dancing will continue until 1 a.m. The EvansCampbell Band will provide the dance music, and Bloy’s Banjo Band will provide the supper extras. There will be special prizes for Monte Carlo and luckv snot winners. Balloons and *<» re ani«--’-s ! will be distributed. The gillery will be open to spectators. A shilling carnival mixed dance will he held in the Sydenham Football Hall next Wednesday evening. The EvansCnmpbell Band will he in attendance. The dance organised by the com mi: »ee of the Waltham School Ex-Pupils" Association for next Wcdncsdav. at the Stareltn Hall, Wilson's Road, should prove equally successful as those held previously. Old scholars and other* are cordially welcome. To-night the Caledonian Select Assembly will hold their usual dance in the Caledonian Hall. A feature will he a 10s cash Monte Carlo. Other feature* will be old and new dances. George Bradford will supply the music. Old and new dances will he a feature of the evening at the Scottish Hall this evening. The usual Monte Carlo and lucky spot dances will bo contested, and the supper will he first-class. A confetti fight, snowballs, streamer* and bright music will make the time ■ pass pleasantly at the Tudor Cabaret, 1 High Street. this evening.
