AUCKLAND BUSINESS. (Special to the "Star.'’) AUCKLAND. April 12. Business on the Stocn Exchange continues to be brisk and a good list of sales has been completed. Since the last report the chief feature has been the continued firmness of insurance shares.. New Zealands and Quecnslands each set up new high levels with sales at £3 and £3 8s respectively. Nationals, with a transfer at 19s Id, reached the highest point of the present year at the morning’s call. South British were asked for at £3 16s 6d, with holders demanding is more. A report from the Dawn of Hope Gold Mines (Thames) states: “ Driving was continued on the hanging wall dropper of the Golden Age reef, the distance driven being 4ft. The dropper is maintaining its size fully 12in in width, and showed gold freely in the ore bn-isen. Its general appearance is good, and a little of the quartz selected could be classed as picked stone.” DAIRY PRODUCE.
