LIGHT HONEY CROP.
The lightness of the honev crop in Canterbury Province, and it probable effect on prices were referred to this morning by Mr W J. Fix. apiary instructor for Canterbury Province. Mr Fix said that as a result of the! light crop, and the fact that little j honey was carried over from the previous season, it was obvious that there would be a rice in prices. There would be a very light export, as the local market would absorb the bulk of the honey produced. The public of New Zealand were acquiring a honey-eating habit.
