Autumn Foursomes at Shirley. The annual competition of the autumn foursomes conducted under the auspices of the New Zealand Ludies’ Golf Union, was begun at Shirley yesterday. A flair match played yesterday for prizes given by M*ss K. R. Preston was won in the A grade hv Mrs .T. C. CuUtmn. who carried the flag almost to the eighteenth rreen: and in the R grade Miss Marv Morten was the winner, nutting the flag in the eighteenth hole. A bogev match for handicap players will he clayed on April 24. and a stroke comnptHion for 0 grade plavers on April 27. In both matches players are to arrange their own opponents. Richmond Hill Club.
