LAWN TENNIS.
The Canterbury College Club. Last night, the annual meeting of the Canterbury College Tennis Club was held in the Students’ Union Building. Mr B. A. Barrer presided over a large attendance. The annual report stated that the club had had a very successful yeai. The senior men's team had won tne Harman Shield and individual members had also met with success during the season. The election of officers resulted as follows:—Patron, Mr T. D. StrakerSmitli; president, Mr F. J. Murray; vicepresidents, Professors L. G. Pocoek, P. Powell, S. Steele, Dr Farr, Messrs E. H. Adkins, A. Burns and J. Darwin; club captain, Mr B. A. Barrer; secretary, Mr D. M. Walter; treasurer, Mr \\. Midland; committee, Misses M. Sherris, D. Gerard and P. Kennedy, Messrs M. Keenan, B. D.
