Association’s Colours Consecrated. Per Press Association. AUCKLAND, April 8. The colours in New Zealand of the Old . Con tern ptibles’ Association were consecrated by the Primate, Archbishop Averill, in St Matthew’s Church this afternoon. The was present. After the service he inspected a parade of Mons veterans outside the church. Prior to the service, members of the Auckland branch of the Old Contemptibles’ Association, which is the headquarters branch, assembled on the wharf in company with other exservicemen’s units and to music of bands, marched to church.
