The Laurian Club held its annual meeting last night, Mr Harold Beck presiding. over a good attendance of members. In moving the adoption of the annual report and balance-sheet, the president said it was gratifying to see the club’s finances in such a satisfactory eondiThe following officers were elected:— : Patron, Dr J. Right; president, Mi Harold Beck; secretary, Mr V. Mean: treasurer, Mr D. Woodward; auditor, M: J. M. Hudson; librarian, Mr F. O. Nicholls; assistant librarian, Mr W. Haynes; committee, the president, tlio secretary, the treasurer. Misses T. Morris, 'A. Slack, M. Wilson and Mr Noel Newson.
