SECESSION PROPOSED.

West Australia’s Wrongs Under Federation. United Press Assn.—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright. PERTH, March 27 The special Parliamentary sub-com-mittee has prepared its report on Western Australia’s secession from the Commonwealth. The report claims that the only effective remedy for the ills and wrongs that Western Australia suffers under federation is withdrawal from the Commonwealth. It urges the Imperial Parliament to give Western Australia the same status as the dominions of New Zealand, Canada and South Africa. The proposal is made that an Imperial defence force should undertake the coastal defence of Western Australia until the Dominion itself is able to discharge that duty.
