DUNEDIN, March 27. The annual meeting of Kempthorne, Prosser’s New Zealand Drug Company, wa° held to-day. The balance-sheet showed that the net result of the year’s trading A,vas £48,788 10s lid, an improvement on last year’s figures of £1063. Adding to the net profit the unappropriated balance from last year. £31,527 9s Bd, an 1 deducting the amount of the in- ; terim dividend of 3-i per cent paid in . September left the sum of £60,211 Os ! 7d to be dealt Avith. Chit of this it Avas decided to pa'* a j final dividend of 4 per cent, absorbing j £23,330, and to make a contribution of I £2.500 to the Staff Provident Fund, leav- 1 ing £34,391 0s 7d to be carried forward.]
