DANCE AT COLLEGE.
In order to give “freshers” an opportunity of getting to know one another, an informal “ freshers’ frolic ” was held in the Students’ Union building last night. The gathering, which was organised by the “ freshers,” was a great success. The programme included several novelty events. Arrangements were carried out by a committee consisting of Misses Claire Hunter. Blair Williams and Nancy Hitchcock; Messrs W. Kennedy, L. C. Kingsbury, J. D. Robertson and P. Jones. Those present were:—Misses Ola Anderson, Natalie Vale, Bertha Nurse, Ruth Harris, Jewel Hobbs, Shona Roscoe, Dorothy Winter, Joan Ross. Jeanette Gow, Pat Wauchop, Jean Ashworth, Shirley Woodfield, Dorothy Straehan, Theresa Ware?, Myra Baker. Dulcie Pepper, Joyce Finney. Mary Henderson, May Patterson, Nan M’Lean Doris Tozer, Joyce Cooper. Lilian Linklater, Kathleen Harrow, Dorothy Deilow, Beth Hayles, Lois Blank.
