Women’s Tournament Opened. Tltp inter-provincial women's bowling: (• ha. nipi on s hips were commenced vestei day on the Linwood, Shirley, Becker, ham and Spreydon greens, about one hundred players taking part in the singles tournament. The tournament is being conducted by the Christchurch Ladies' Howling Centre. After the day's play five players were undefeated. They were:—Mesdames Abott. Stubbs, Haub, Walker and Sewell.
