EUCHRE MATCH.

Nearly one hundred people assembled in the Broadfield schoolroom on Friday night to take part in a challenge euchre match between the Prebbleton Women’s Institute and the Broadfield Women’s Division of the Farmers’ Union. The games, which were thoroughly enjoyed, ended in a win for the visitors. The prize-winning partners were:—Prebbieton, Mrs Perrimans and Mr Horace Gallagher 1. Mrs W. Kolkman and Mr C. O’Malley 2; Broadfield, Mrs J. Gallagher and Mr G. Simpson 1, Mrs Hopley and Mr Fred Gallagher 2. Consolation prizes were awardee? to Miss Bertha Hartnell and Mr Chris Watson (Prebbleton) and Miss Grace Hinton and Mr Woodham (Broadfield). Mr Brown supplied the music for the cfancing and Mr J. Gallagher was M.C.
