THE HOLMGLEN’S CARGO.

Removal From Damaged Vessel. A commencement was made this morning with the discharging of cargo from the motor-ship Holmglen, which arrived at Lyttelton on Saturday afternoon with her bow stove in and slightly opened up as a result of striking a rock during the fog experienced on the east coast on Saturday morning. The cargo will be transhipped for northern ports during the week. In all probability the Holmdale, which is due at Lyttelton to-morrow, will carry the majority of the cargo.
