TO VISIT WELLINGTON.
Suburban Cricket Team’s Trip. In reply to an invitation from the Wellington Mercantile League the Management Committee of the Suburban Cricket Association has decided to select a representative team to visit Wellington to play on Easter Saturday and Monday. Picnic Outing. The Suburban Cricket Association and Umpires’ Association held a joint picnic at Stewart's Gully yesterday, when about 150 persons had a pleasant day. A cricket match between the Umpires’ Association and Management Committee was won by the Umpires by five runs. Following are the results of the sports events:— Girls.—Six to eight years—Pamela King. Eight to ten—M. Candle. Ten to twelve—N. Harris. Twelve to sixteen—J. Perrin. Single women—Miss A. Kinley 1, Miss I). Roberts 2. Boys.—Six to eight years—R. Harris. Eight to ten—G. Brooks. Ten to twelve —S. Brooks. Committee—F. Harris 1, J. Clarkson 2. Umpires—K. Perrin 1, C. Cooke 2. Relay race—Management Committee CF. Kiddey, S. Cawtheray, E. C* ox and D. Mitchell) beat Umpires (J. Roberts, K. Perrin, C. Cooke and K. Sim). Women’s stepping—Mrs Newsome 1. Mrs Pitt 2. Women's cutting Turk’s head—Mrs Newsome 1, Miss Symons 2.
