Protection of Accountants and the Public. Per Press Association. AUCKLAND, February 19. A body to be known as the Accountants’ Protection Society, which will be incorporated, has been formed with the declared object of 44 protecting the livelihood of those engaged in the accountancy profession ir„ New Zealand, and of safeguarding and protecting the public and members of the profession from legislation of a monopolistic nature.” Its promoters say that there is widespread dissatisfac :ion with the adminis* tration of the Act passed last session.
