Farmers Urge Need for Action. Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, February 15. At a meeting of the executive of the Farmers’ Union to-day a further reduction in interest rates was proposed, and the following remit from the North J aranaki branch was adopted“ That this executive is of the opinion that it is urgently necessary in the national interests that interest rates be substantiallv reduced, and so give the people ot this Dominion greater security of tenure, reduced costs of living and production, and so assist in the rehabilitation of the country.”
