Results of Saturday’s Matches. The heat of Saturday had effect in taking the string from the play of many of the senior competitors in the Canterbury Lawn Tennis Association's contests and as a result it was largely a marathon day with no particular brightness. Senior Grade—Canterbury College beat United I. by 4 matches to 1; Cathedral beat Cashmere by 62 games to 55; United 111. beat Addington by 6 matches to 0. A Grade—Edgeware beat St Albans by 13 sets to 3; Belfast beat Feudal-ton by 10 sets to 6; Addington beat Canterbury College by 10 sets to 6; Waimairi beat Cashmere by 9 sets to 6; Cathedral beat Linwood by 11 sets to 5; Woolston beat Sumner by 11 sets to 5; Elmwood beat Opawa by 11 sets to 5. B Grade—St Mary’s beat Riccarton by 91 games to 89; Te Whaka beat North Linwood by 9 sets to 7; Wesley beat Lin wood by 19 sets to 6. C Grade—North Linwood beat South Christchurch by 12 sets to 4; Opawa beat Redcliffs by 16 sets to 0; Heathcote heat New Brighton by 14 sets to 2; Woolston beat Addington by 9 sets Vo 7.
