Earthquake Lasted Over Three Hours. (Continued from Page 1.) Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, January 16. The Indian earthquake was well recorded at the Dominion Observatory. The first waves reached here at two minutes past nine last night, and the tremors did not fade away till twentysix minutes past midnight. The waves were of exceptionally large amplitude, indicating a very severe upheaval.
