Burglars Blow Open Safe at Oamaru. ABOUT £2O STOLEN. Per Press Association. OAMARU, January 15. Between Saturday night and this morning thieves broke into the office of the Oamaru Gas Department, blew open the safe, and stole about £2O. The discovery was. made when the office was opened this morning. The burglars gained entrance by a side-window, on which a jemmy was used. They burst the strongroom door and then the safe with gelignite.
