REMOVING PAINT.

To remove old paint from wood, first protect your hands with some old gloves, and then make a cream of pearlash and soda. Spread it over the paint to be removed and leave it for some time. Then scrape off the paint and wash it, using a soft brush and cold water. Finally wipe the wood with a cloth wrung out of vinegar.
