To destroy an ants’ nest, sprinkle all the crevies where the ants collect with powdered borax and soda in equal quantities. Then pour hot water on the powder— -not too much, but just enough to drive in a strong solution of the material. The ants will quickly be destroyed wherever the mixture is in contact with them, and other ants will avoid the place in the future.
