A message from St Petersburg (Florida) states that the Australian Press Association was informed that negotiations were proceeding to have the American Professional Golf Association send a team to Australia to participate in an open tournament at the Melbourne Centenary and» a teams’ match against Australians, depending on satisfactory financial arrangements being made.
