Planning the Week-end.

In deciding where to go and what to do, do not overlook the excellent facilities provided by your own tramway service to transport you to the hills and to the beaches. Whether you spend the time bathing, hiking or taking the family for a picnic, remember that the tram or trolley bus will take you there and bring you back in perfect safety, with no transport worries. Both our hills and beaches are well served by trams. From 30 to 40 minutes’ ride will land a passenger right at the beach, ejther at Sumner, New Brighton or North Beach. Our Summit Road, a wonderful asset not sufficiently appreciated, offers a variety of magnificent walks which can be tackled via Sumner, via St Martins, or via Cashmere Hills. All of these points are served by trams running to convenient timetables at reasonable fares. 6
