PIANOFORTE RECITAL.

The pupils of Mr Alan J. Clark, Ricearton, gave a pianoforte recital recently in the Clarence Street Methodist Schoolroom. Those taking part in the programme which included several songs were Misses Hilda Pye, Eileen and Joan Cross, Joan Yates, Yvonne Voice, Nira Chaney, Merryi Duder. Gwen Harrison. Sally Ilurst, Masters Mervyn Clark (character song). Maurice Bootton, Jack Rowe, Alex Simpson. Ted Tend, Jim Shipman and Jack Stevens, A sight reading competition was held, the winner being Nira Chaney. The accompanist was Mr A. Clark. Supper was served after the performance.
