Right to Hold Exhibition is Debated. Per Press Association. WELLINGTON. December 4 In connection with the Christchurch j exhibition project, it was pointed out j at the annual meeting of the Welling-j ton Show Association to-night that a ; move already had been made to have : an exhibition in Wellington at the end of the decade, the centenary of j Wellington’s founding, and the pro- j posal had been taken up by the Citv | Council and local bodies. It also was | pointed out that the last international , exhibition at Dunedin had put on j record that the next one should be at 1 Wellington. It was stated that there was a law governing the right of cities to hold such exhibitions. No formal action was taken by the meeting.
