MISS SPAIN’S TRIBUTE.
In a friendly Christmas note received from Miss Maidaiine Spain, the American journalist who visited New Zealand a few months ago, she writes: “ The people of New Zealand gave me such a wonderful reception that I can never forget them. I hope to return to your country again sometime. The South Island is the most beautiful scenery I have ever seen in the world. This is a tribute worth having from a traveller who has circled the globe three times.
