REMAND GRANTED.
Postman Charged With Theft. Charged with the theft of a postal packet containing a postal note for the sum of ISs 4d, the property of the New Zealand Government, at New Brighton on or about August 10, Herbert Frederick Smith, a postman, aged twenty-four years, of Richmond Terrace, New Brighton, appeared before Mr H. P. Lawry, S.M. yesterday afternoon. He was remanded until December 5. Accused was represented by Mr Russell.
