Argentine Decree Raises Levels. FREE EXCHANGE MARKET. United Press Assn.—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright. (Received November 30, 1.50 p.m.) BUENOS AIRES, November 29. The Argentine Government, by decree, has fixed the price of wheat at 62 cents a bushel, corn 44 cents, and flax at 115 cents, on the basis of United States currency. The decree has raised prices from 11 to 16 per cent over the previous level. It also creates a Grain Regulation Board to purchase money drafts I'rQm exporters and to send them to firms needjng foreign‘exchange by a virtual auction system. The Government anticipates that this system will defray the expenses of the grain subsidy, leaving the Government a net profit. The Finance Minister (Senor de Pinedo) announced that the Government was partially abandoning its control of the monetary exchange in a move toward re-establishment of a free exchange market, which has been nonexistent since November 26, 1931.
