The Tenders Committee reported to the Christchurch Drainage Board last evening that the tender of £BB9 submitted by Mr W. Williamson had been accepted for the removal of the mat from the septic tanks at the sewage farm. That quotation was the lowest of the five received. The Works Committee reported that the question of tree-planting at the sewage farm had been considered, and it was of the opinion that the work had been carried out in a satisfactory manner.
