BRIDGE PARTY.
Funds for Maori Girls’ School. On Saturday evening an enjoyable bridge party was held at the residence of Mr and Mrs C. Al. Sheppard, Springfield Road, St Albans”. Air Lawrence Wilson acted as hostess. The party was organised to raise funds for the Maori Girls’- School. Airs Basliford and Mr W. H. Lee won the first prizes, Airs Digby the lucky number, and Miss Sandrey and Mr Detmer the consolation prizes. Those present included: The Rev J. T. and Mrs M’William. Mr and Mrs C. M. Sheppard. Mr and Mrs Clyde Sheppard, Mi- and Mrs F. Sheppard, .Mr and Mrs S. Dickson, Mr and Mrs Cole, MY and Mrs Oborn. Mr and Mrs W. H. Lee, Mr and Jtfrs Fountain, Mr and Mrs Anderson, Mr and Mrs, Basliford, Mr and Mrs Digby, Mr add Mrs Watson. Mr and Mrs Detmer, Mr and Mrs Turner. Mr and Mrs Clissold. Mesdames L. Wilson.
