The Premier, Mr Stevens, announced in Melbourne that the New South Wales Government would not re-im-pose the State flour tax after the date of its expiry on December 31. It is understood that this decision is due to the probable imposition of a Federal tax of £6 a ton on flour to assist wheatgrowers.
