CITY ROAD PAVING.
Completion of Manchester Street. Next week should see the completion of the work of re-paving Manchester Street from Lichfield Street to Worcester Street, provided fine weather is experienced. The work is \*fell ahead, and has been carried out in such a way that traffic has not been disorganised A proposal that the work should be continued along Manchester Street to Oxford Terrace will shortly be considered by the Works Committee of the City Council. A bridge over the side-channel opposite the North Beach bus stop in the north-eastern portion of the Square was put in this morning. Complaints of inconvenience had been received from users of the buses.
