A WOOL QUESTION.
Advice to Dominion Growers. (Special.to the *• Star.”) AUCKLAND, November 4. The advance in wool prices will be maintained, but New Zealand growers must pay more attention to classing and skirting, said Mr Frank B. Clark, managing director of Francis Willey, Christchurch, who returned by the Monterey from an extensive business tour overseas. He found a general complaint of lack of attention by New Zealand growers to the classing and skirting of their wool. Mr Clark, who visited Great Britain, the Continent and America, added that prospects for world trade seemed vfery bright, and he thought this would reflect to the benefit not only of New Zealand woolgrowers but also of the dairying industry. There was no doubt the corner had been turned in England and almost all businesses were working full time. This was particularly true of the textile industry. Some factories were working day and night.
