An unexpected development occurred in the feilmongers’ 6trike, when, at the request of the men, the Deputy Registrar of the Commonwealth Arbitration Court agreed to summon a compulsory conference of the Board of Reference constituted under the Wool and Basil Workers’ Award, to discuss proposals for a settlement of the dispute.
