Declaring that an overwhelming majority for Mrs E. R. M’Combs in the by-election. would show the Government that it should resign and give the country a general election, Mr F. Langstone, M.P., stated at Ly*ttelton last night that that electorate was the only one with an opportunity to register a protest against the “ teardown deflationary* policy* ” of the Government.
