AUSTRALIAN WOOL FIGURES
(Received Mav 10, 10.30 a.m.) SYDNEY, May 10. The Commonwealth wool sales up to the end of April represented a turnover of £30.060.192, compared with £27.289.447. During the first ten months of last season the sales totalled 2.665,615 bales, compared with 2.435,058 bales last season. The average price for greasy wool was £ll 4s 2d a bale, or 8.65 d a pound, compared with averages of £ll 3s 5d a bale and S.6d a pound last season.
