DRUIDS’ LODGE.
The Perseverance Lodge, U.A.0.D., met on Monday, Brother S. Newbury presiding. The D.P. Brother W. Stevens, of the Oak of Sydenham, was in attendance. The R.A.C. wrote asking the lodge to get its business over as soon as possible next lodge night so that the entrants for the A.D. charge competition could get an early start. An invitation was received from the Tratalgar Lodge, Kaiapoi, to attend a social evening to P.G.P. Brother Warren, oi that lodge, to take place on Tuesday, May !>. The Oak of Sydenham invited ! the members to a social evening on ; Wednesday, May 10. Both invitations i were accepted. ‘ Brother Jenkins. P.A., i reported attending a meeting of *he U.F.S. Benevolent Association when a I needy brother of the Star of Ashburton was granted £lO. A report was received • from Brother Havord. V.A., who attendjed the presentation to G.P. Brother Barnes, of the Pioneer.' Visitors for the evening were P.A. Brother Smith, of the Pioneer, and P.A. Brother Satterthwaite, of the Oak of Sydenham.
