= Registration Question to be Discussed. E To consider the question of the reIE gistration of colours, badges and emE blems, a meeting will be held next E Wednesday at 8 p.m. in the Chamber Z of Commerce, at which it is anticipatE ed representatives w’ill be present from Z all over the Dominion. E The Christchurch -High School Old ~ Bovs’ Association has forwarded a cirE cular letter to the various bodies inZ terested, stating that as no provision Z was made under the Patents, Designs Z and Trade Marks Act for the registraE tion of colours, badges and emblems, E the executive of the association was of E the opinion that some concerted action E on the part of. schools, colleges, uniE versitios and old boys’ organisations Z should be made in an endeavour to z obtain an amendment of the Act to Z permit of such registration. = Applications made to the Registrar E had been met with a stoic refusal, conE tinued the letter, the official view being Z taken that the Act was not designed z for the purpose, but the executive was Z of the opinion, however, that if proper E and concerted representations were E made to the Government an amend- = ment to the Act might be possible.
